Hi, I’m Re’nae, I’m 13 years old and home schooled.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had sensitive skin. When I was a few months old, we started realising that the soaps and skincare products I was using were full of things that made my skin worse, not better. So my family and I went on a mission to strip back the chemicals and find products that were kind, gentle, and simple.
That’s where my love for natural skincare began.
When I found out I wouldn’t be going to a local high school because all the places were full, my parents and I decided on home schooling, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. I get to learn in a way that really suits me, with amazing tutors and lots of time to explore things I’m passionate about.
I spend part of my week in a shared office surrounded by entrepreneurs, and seeing their drive and creativity made me want to try something of my own. That’s how Bloom Soap was born, a mix of my love for natural products, creativity, and a chance to learn what it takes to run a business.
Every bar I make is handmade with care, using ingredients that are kind to your skin and to the planet. I’m learning as I go, improving all the time, and having so much fun along the way.
